About Jeff Allen

My wife and I moved to Norcross in 1996 and raised our three kids here. They spent countless afternoons playing in the woods of Johnson Dean Park's greenspace — this city has been our family's home for nearly three decades.

Our kids are grown now: Kate graduated from Berry College, Connor from LaGrange College, and Clara is currently at Young Harris College on a soccer scholarship — all Georgia colleges. Our family text thread is called "The Tall Family" for a reason: our shortest kid is 6 feet tall. These days it's just the two of us at home with our Cavapoo, Earl, who lives for his daily walk around town.

I've served this community before. I sat on City Council from 2006 to 2008, so I already know how city hall works and can hit the ground running for you on day one. Professionally I work in IT sales, and I love electronics enough that I run a YouTube channel about fixing just about anything. When I'm not out talking to neighbors, you can usually find me under the hood of a car in the driveway.

We love Norcross too much to sit back and watch recent decisions tear it apart. That's why I'm running — not for a title, but because this is our home and it's your home, and we deserve a council that represents the people who live here.
